Due to the unrealistic goals set for my performance, I must resign.
As I mentioned at the time, it was (and remains) virtually impossible for me, or any other rep, to increase sales by 400%. There are many, many factors that go into our business that I won’t go into here, but I’m not at all surprised that I failed to reach this goal that is so far removed from reality.
I hope that you will reconsider the goals that you set for your sales team. Otherwise, you will be seeing a lot of turnover and will have to invest instead in rebuilding client relationships.
