In cases where a work environment is just too negative or toxic to function, an employee can send this letter communicating issues to management upon resignation.
It is truly unfortunate that I must resign due to the ongoing negative environment at ABC Company.
The egregious ethical breaches, as well as the backstabbing and other toxic behaviors, have been well documented with HR, not only by myself but by multiple other employees. I won’t bother to revisit these issues in this resignation letter.
I urge you to seriously reflect on what has happened to this once well-respected company. ABC used to be a fun and rewarding place to work, and employees encouraged their friends to apply. Now, the opposite is true, and it won’t be long before a mass exodus throws the company into a tailspin.
I wish you the best as you work to undo the damage that has been done.
