Dear Mr. Leader,
I have never witnessed such a sickening display as I did on (occasion). You should be ashamed; we should all be ashamed.
When I joined (organization/entity), it was because I thought I could make a difference on (issue). I was na�ve to think that anyone here actually cared about helping (situation). The disgusting partisanship and willing disregard for facts was only overshadowed by the complete lack of empathy on display at (event).
It's become clear that I can no longer work to fix this problem "from the inside." I am immediately shifting my energy and efforts to (candidate/cause/entity).
