Per our discussion today, I am tendering my resignation, effective immediately.
I never imagined that I would find myself in this situation, a mess truly of my own making. But not only have I fallen woefully short of my personal standards, I have failed you as my supervisor, a company I have long respected, and our valued clients.
There is no way I can undo the wrongs I have done to the (Company) family, but I do wish to offer up for my formal apology for all that has transpired. The blame lies solely at my own feet. I cannot overstate my deep remorse.
